What You’ll Do

As a summer intern at Nordic Semiconductor, you will:

- Work on real-world projects that contribute to the development of cutting-edge wireless technologies.

- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers to design, develop, and test innovative solutions for IoT and short-range communication.

- Gain hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (LE), Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions, prototyping, and testing to bring ideas to life.

- Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking talented and motivated students who are:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Cybernetics, Computer Science or a related field.

- Passionate about wireless technology, IoT, and embedded systems.

- Skilled in programming languages such as C, C++, Rust or Python (experience with embedded systems is a plus), or skilled in cross-platform development in React or mobile application development for Android or IoS.

- Interested in tools and concepts such as signal processing, control systems, or RF design.

- Interested in on-device (edge) AI development, deployment, and acceleration in the context of real-world use cases.

- Interested in use of AI in embedded development and verification. Strong problem-solver with a curious mindset and a desire to learn.

- Team players with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
