ASSOCIATE, ACTUARIAL SERVICES

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Associate.

In this role you will:

- The role sits within the Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team.
- Primarily responsible for supporting experience monitoring, setting actuarial assumptions, performing impact and sensitivity testing, and contributing to the annual Par bonus recommendation and implementation.
- Supports the monthly and quarterly production of management information for internal stakeholders.
- Contributes to ad hoc actuarial initiatives and projects to enhance existing processes.
- Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver assigned outputs on time and to the required quality.
- Maintains documentation in line with HSBC standards and guidelines.

To be successful you will need:

- Relevant Life Actuarial experience, candidate with less experience / non-actuarial experience will be considered for Associate position.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, interact with other departments
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
- Experience in SQL/Python and/or Prophet is a plus.
