What you will do:
- Lead the design, architecture, development, integration, and testing of complex software components and systems, translating user and clinical needs into robust technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, driving design decisions, code reviews, engineering best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, and high-quality software development.
- Collaborate with R&D cross functional team, Quality and Project Management teams to deliver products through the complete development and release lifecycle.
- Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement through technology exploration, prototyping, process improvements, and contributions to invention disclosures, patents, and technical documentation.
What you need:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Modern C++, OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience building scalable, modular, and maintainable software components.
- Hands-on experience with Qt/QML, Google Test (or similar), debugging, code coverage, and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, software quality, testing, integration, and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, Git, Perforce, or similar version control tools.
- Technical leadership experience, including architecture reviews, mentoring, and regulated software development (medical devices preferred); exposure to 3D mathematics, robotics, navigation, or imaging is a plus.
