We offer salaries within the stated pay range. Typically, new hires start at the lower end of the range, though recognition of relevant experience and prior service may result in a higher starting salary.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to support the successful delivery of business and regulatory change across Standard Life and Phoenix Group.
The role combines strong change management expertise with a practical approach to business readiness, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement and operational delivery.
As part of our ongoing focus on innovation and efficiency, we are particularly interested in candidates who can apply Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled solutions to improve ways of working, support process improvement and help develop AI capability across the wider Change Manager community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver change initiatives in line with the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) change framework and governance standards, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to business readiness and change delivery.
- Assess impacts across people, processes, technology and customers, developing readiness plans that support successful implementation and adoption of change.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, project teams and third-party partners to deliver successful business outcomes.
- Coordinate business readiness, communications, training, testing and implementation activities, ensuring the business is prepared for change and customer disruption is minimised.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, providing clear reporting and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to improve customer outcomes, operational performance and change delivery.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools to support change delivery activities including process mapping, impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, communications and operational readiness.
- Support the adoption of AI capabilities within the Change Manager community through knowledge sharing, coaching and practical application of Microsoft Copilot and agent-based solutions.
- Identify opportunities where AI, automation or digital solutions could simplify processes, improve colleague experience and support operational effectiveness.
Essentials
- Proven experience delivering business change, operational readiness or change management activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience assessing business impacts and developing readiness plans.
- Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving capability.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and translate ideas into practical business outcomes.
- Copilot Studio or equivalent AI-related training or certification.
Desirable
- Financial services, pensions or insurance experience.
- Experience supporting testing, implementation and operational transition activities.
- Customer journey mapping experience.
- Lean Six Sigma, Change Management or Project Management qualification.
- Experience working with third-party suppliers or outsourced service providers.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot to support change management, business analysis, process improvement or operational readiness activities.
- Experience building, configuring or deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio agents or similar AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience coaching, training or supporting colleagues in the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working.
- AI Super User, Copilot Studio or equivalent AI-related training or certification.
