About this role
The incumbent will support the delivery of FDI growth, co-lending initiatives, and sector-based financing solutions by providing business analysis, process improvement, and transformation support across key regional markets.
The role acts as a bridge between Business, Risk, Credit, Operations, and Technology teams to translate strategic objectives into effective lending capabilities, processes, and systems.
The incumbent will contribute to the enhancement of:

- Customer experience
The role will also involve identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support FDI, lending, and portfolio growth objectives through analytical insights, business case development, and performance monitoring.
- Produce financial, market, sector, and portfolio analysis to support strategic decision-making, lending initiatives, and investment growth opportunities.
- Assist in tracking business performance, identifying efficiency improvement opportunities, and supporting lending transformation initiatives.
- Implement KPIs and best practices for the Business Analyst, FDI, Co-Lending & Sector Solutions function.
- Promote cost consciousness, efficiency, and productivity to minimise cost, avoid waste, and optimise benefits for the Bank.
- Act within delegated authority and demonstrate clear understanding of the factors behind the Bank’s financial and non-financial performance.
- Support business and client requirements through timely analysis, insights, and solutions enhancing lending, FDI, and sector financing initiatives.
- Liaise with Coverage, Risk, Credit, Operations, and Technology to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into effective solutions and deliverables.
- Contribute to customer and stakeholder experience by identifying process enhancements and supporting efficient lending journeys and services.
- Assist customers with queries relating to Bank products and seek appropriate solutions.
- Maintain activities in accordance with SLAs to improve turnaround time and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with related departments/units to achieve Group objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate data to External Auditors, Internal Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control, and Risk when required.
- Support the analysis, documentation, and implementation of lending processes, credit policies, risk frameworks, and sector financing solutions to ensure operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into functional and process specifications supporting lending transformation, platform enhancements, and process improvements.
- Analyse end-to-end lending workflows and identify opportunities to enhance controls, automation, efficiency, data quality, and customer experience across the credit lifecycle.
- Lead improvement initiatives through cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery.
- Encourage adoption of practices exceeding industry standards, promote out-of-the-box thinking, and encourage, solicit, and reward innovative ideas in day-to-day activities.
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including Group Compliance Policies and Procedures, AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy, Whistle Blowing Policy, Conflict of Interest, and Insider Dealing Policy.
- Perform the role under the Three Lines of Defence principle to identify, measure, monitor, manage, and report risks.
- Ensure systematic good outcomes for clients in accordance with Conduct Risk Policy.
- Support RCSA, KRI, incident reporting, and remediation in accordance with Operational Risk Management requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Lending, Credit, Business Analysis, Financial Services, or Transformation Programs, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
- Experience supporting lending transformation, credit initiatives, system implementations, and process improvement projects.
- Exposure to FDI, structured finance, co-lending, or corporate lending environments preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing, in English, with good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
- Ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives, with strong personal integrity and self-management.
- Strong planning, organising, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, results-oriented approach, and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, BRD, BRS, user stories, process mapping, and solution design.
- Knowledge of lending products, credit processes, loan origination systems, and loan lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyse complex business problems, translate requirements into functional specifications, and support transformation and system implementation initiatives.
