The MDM Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the Jakarta-based MDM Operations team. The role also acts as a local point of contact for Data and Technology colleagues, helping to strengthen collaboration, share local insights with regional teams, and foster an inclusive and engaging team environment.

We’ll Count on You To:
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Lead local team of data operations staff to maintain Legal Entity and Security data for all downstream consumers, ensuring high data quality and adherence to policies
- Supervise all data and tech resources in the local site
- Provide content set domain knowledge and expertise to assist with business challenges and data-related queries and client support
- Establish procedures and policies to ensure data accuracy and coverage levels, and ensure robust documentation is in place and training is provided to support all aspects of good data governance
- Participate in workshops and requirements review sessions within the MDM squad to understand data-related problems and help design fit-for-purpose solutions
What You Need to Have:
The role requires the following experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services, Financial Information Services, Market Data, Reference Data, Master Data Management or a related environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in leading, coaching, mentoring or coordinating a small team
- Solid understanding of Legal Entity and Security data
- Fundamental knowledge of databases and how they work would be a plus
- Prior experience of working with a Master Data Management tool as a user is highly desired
- Excellent administration and communication skills, with a highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, balancing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively
- Knowledge of third party data management software (Informatica or similar) and third party data sources such as Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, and Exchange data e.g. ICE
- Ability to analyse, interpret and manipulate data, with a can-do attitude to problems
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of how data quality affects business decisions
