EXPERIENCED COUNTERTOP PROFESSIONALS ONLY
Delorie Countertops & Doors, Inc., an established South Florida countertop company since 1999, is looking for an experienced sub for countertop measuring, templating, and installation.
This is an independent position — not an entry-level position.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Extensive countertop installation experience
- Strong field measuring and templating experience
- Laminate countertops
- Solid Surface / Corian
- Thinscape
- Wood / butcher block countertops
- Sink and cooktop cutouts
- Seams, joints, overhangs, backsplashes, fillers, and clearances
- Ability to identify potential problems before fabrication
- Ability to read measurements accurately to 1/16"
- Strong understanding of dimensions, angles, radii, and finished dimensions
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
SUBCONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Own basic installation tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Able to safely handle materials up to 75 lbs.
- Professional and reliable
- Able to communicate effectively with our office and job-site teams
- Must provide required subcontractor documentation and insurance
NOT A FIT IF:
- You are entry-level
- You have only general construction experience
- You have never performed your own countertop measurements or templates
- You require training in countertop installation or templating
