Host/Hostess Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Manage guest seating and ensure an efficient flow of the dining area
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
- Provide guests with menus and information about daily specials and promotions
- Assist guests with special requests and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to provide a smooth dining experience
- Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
