Description:

The Global Information Security (GIS) team at Marsh is seeking a motivated and collaborative IT Specialist to support the development and improvement of AI risk and governance capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will help assess AI-related risks, support control and governance activities, and partner with teams across engineering, security, infrastructure, and the business to help strengthen the safe and responsible use of AI technologies.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office and two days per week remote.

WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO:

- Support the assessment of AI-related risks, governance requirements, and control considerations.
- Help review AI use cases, technical documentation, and architecture materials to identify potential risks and control gaps.
- Assist with developing and maintaining AI risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility.
- Support governance activities related to AI tools, models, and emerging technologies.
- Help improve and automate workflows for risk tracking, evidence collection, and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams to support practical risk-reducing actions.
- Contribute to vendor and third-party reviews related to AI tools and services.
- Assist with incident response, issue tracking, and remediation efforts related to AI and technology risks.
- Help develop technical guidance, standards, and playbooks to support consistent governance practices.
- Review system documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical evidence to support risk and governance decisions.
- Work with team members to improve processes and strengthen the organization’s approach to responsible AI.
- Support and learn from senior team members while building technical capability and expertise.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

- Experience in IT, cybersecurity, risk, governance, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong interest in AI risk, governance, and emerging technologies.
- Understanding of security controls, technical documentation, and basic risk assessment concepts.
- Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and support clear recommendations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a large, complex, or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with workflow tools, reporting, or automation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
