The MDM Business Analyst & Application Engineer is responsible for enabling enterprise Master Data Management capabilities by bridging business needs and technology solutions. The role partners with business stakeholders, data owners, stewards, architects, and engineers to define requirements, improve data quality, implement governance processes, and deliver scalable MDM solutions.
This position combines business analysis and application engineering skills to support the full lifecycle of MDM initiatives, from requirements gathering and process design through solution implementation, testing, adoption, and operational support. The successful candidate will help establish trusted, governed, and high-quality master data that enables operational excellence, analytics, and AI-driven business capabilities.
Experience with Master Data Management platforms is desirable but not required.
Required
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Application Engineer, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, stewardship, metadata management, and business processes.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise Master Data Management platforms.
- Experience with Profisee, Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, Semarchy, or similar MDM solutions.
- Familiarity with Azure data and integration technologies.
- Experience supporting data governance programs.
- Experience with data migration and onboarding initiatives.
