DMS Hardware Engineering Lead

Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Principal Hardware Engineer to join our Diminishing Material Supply (DMS) Central Engineering Team (CET). In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, submodules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across multiple projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:
- Coordinating with hardware suppliers to resolve DMS issues
- Electrical Engineering evaluation of part obsolescence impact, and potential replacements
- Generate Change Orders (COs) to resolve production design issues
- Partner with cross functional team to mitigate DMS impacts to programs
- Delegating tasks to less experienced engineers and technicians monitoring/assisting in work progress, reviewing generated documentation of delegated task to ensure quality and provide mentorship as required.
- Technical management of engineering activity related to replacement component assessment

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years’ applicable professional experience
- Experience with RF/Microwave designs, circuit card assemblies or other electronic systems
- Ability to research and apply engineering principles and theories to solve technical problems including reverse engineering applications using circuit schematics, analyzing system and circuit applications that use RF diodes, MOSFETS, ADCs, FPGAs, OP AMPs, digital logic, implementation influences on signal integrity, SMPS evaluation, understanding SERDES applications, optical isolators/relays, and/or DDR and FLASH memory alternatives
- Experience in logic, analog, RF design, FPGA power and/or part selection
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
- Active or previously held Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED - must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance at a minimum
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module and circuit design and development
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience developing Engineering Basis of Estimate for proposed engineering work
- Experience in packaging of electronics (e.g. BGAs, SOICs, DIE, etc.)
- Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management system (PLM)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
