Weekend Utility Supervisor

General Summary of the Position
The purpose of the Weekend Utility Lead is to provide direction and priorities to the Weekend Utility Team to assist in meeting goals and timelines for a variety of assigned tasks including but not limited to set-up, pour/finish, stripping, finished products and loading.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for prioritizing and planning work activities and managing resources (Team Members, time, and materials) effectively to meet production deadlines.
- Ensures production/business plans for the shift are communicated to the team members. Active in training and development of the team, providing feedback, and supporting the company culture through positive recognition to the team. Assist team in troubleshooting issues and solving problems. Support the implantation and monitoring of performance metrics to assess the efficiency and productivity of operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.
- Communicate with Quality Control, Finished Products, Redimix, Production Floor and other departments as needed for optimal efficiency. Quality products are completed efficiently according to the production schedule.

- Previous leadership experience in the concrete or construction industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
Education, Training and Experience
- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
Work Context
- Regularly works near moving objects and in climate conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and concrete
- Noise levels vary within facility. Hearing protection may be required in loud areas
- Occasionally required to wear fall protection equipment and/or half mask respirator
- Safety/Steel toe boots, hard hats and safety glasses required
