Clinical Application Specialist

We are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to support clinicians across Hologic's Gynaecology Surgical portfolio throughout the South West of the UK. Working closely with gynaecologists, consultants, nurses, theatre teams, and outpatient departments, you will deliver hands-on clinical training and procedural support, helping customers build confidence, maximise utilisation of our technologies, and improve patient outcomes through minimally invasive treatment pathways.

What To Expect

- Act as the clinical and applications expert for Hologic's Gynaecology Surgical portfolio across the South West UK territory.

- Deliver high-quality product training and education programmes to gynaecologists, consultants, nurses, theatre teams, and other healthcare professionals.

- Support product installations, demonstrations, workshops, conferences, and educational events throughout the territory.

- Provide hands-on procedural support during live surgical and outpatient cases across the Gynaecology Surgical portfolio.

- Partner closely with Sales colleagues throughout the customer journey, from opportunity development through to post-installation support.

- Identify opportunities to increase product utilisation, strengthen customer relationships, and support continued growth within existing accounts.

- Gather customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights to support ongoing business growth and innovation.

- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Field Service Engineering, Technical Solutions, and Customer Service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What We Expect

- Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, Clinical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Physician Associate Studies, or a related healthcare discipline.

- Open to recent graduates looking to get into medical devices or clinicians.

- Experience within gynaecology, women's health, operating theatre environments, or minimally invasive surgical procedures is beneficial.

- Experience providing clinical applications support, product training, education, or procedural support within healthcare settings is advantageous.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate clinical and technical information clearly and effectively.

- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with healthcare professionals.

- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, 70-80% of the time, across the South West of England.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 gross per annum + bonus. The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package.
