CDL A Driver - Regional & Local

Location: Atlanta, GA

  Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

RS Group is hiring dependable CDL Class A Drivers based in Atlanta, GA. From now through January is our busy season, so expect mostly regional runs. Every regional run is a direct delivery with a backhaul straight home, so you're never out for weeks. After January, things slow down and about 90% of the work is local around Atlanta.

Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Current DOT Medical Card
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable with regional runs
- Ability to safely load and unload freight when required
- Must pass DOT drug screen, background check, MVR, and PSP report
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flatbed trailer experience
- Regional or OTR experience
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial trucks on regional and local routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Deliver freight on schedule and load/unload when required
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch about delivery status and any issues on the road
- Follow all DOT safety regulations and company policies
