The impact you'll make

As a  Talent Acquisition Screening Specialist you have a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent across the globe. This position is dedicated exclusively to evaluating candidate qualifications, recommending talent for advancement in the recruiting process and ensuring a consistent, high-quality, and inclusive candidate experience. The role does not carry requisition ownership, sourcing responsibilities, offer management, or hiring manager account management duties. Instead, it focuses on delivering efficient, objective, and high-quality candidate assessment at scale.

What you'll do

- Support end-to-end recruiting activities for corporate hiring teams across both Austrian sites, Villach and Salzburg
- Review applications, create shortlists and identify top talent and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and market trends
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and talent communities
- Build and nurture talent pipelines for critical and recurring hiring needs
- Engage candidates through outreach campaigns and maintain a positive candidate experience
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data and take over the administrative hiring processes in our systems (SAP)
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and ensure timely candidate communication and follow-up
- Support employer branding initiatives, job advertisements, university relations, career fairs, and recruitment projects
- Track sourcing effectiveness and provide insights to continuously improve recruiting outcomes

Who we're looking for

- HAK diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years of professional experience supporting recruitment or talent acquisition activities
- Experience sourcing candidates and screening talent for a variety of roles
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ideally SuccessFactors
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, empathy, and openness to giving and receiving feedback

A valid work permit for Austria is required for this position.

What we're offering

This position is subject to the  Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group E-F. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

The candidate for this position will be hired through a third party agency.
