FLSA Status: Part Time Contractor, Hourly, must provide liability insurance, W9
Hours/Days: As hired/Monday-Sunday
General Summary Statement of Duties:
- Consulting clients on Hair styling options
- Provide shampoo, cuts, color and blow drying
- Describing benefits of hair care products to produce retail
- Staying up to date on all hair trends and styling/ coloring methods
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Cosmetology License
- Excellent customer service
- 2 year experience preferred, country club experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide an positive experience for members by great customer services
- Consulting with clients and listening to their needs to determine their preference
- Shampoo, cut, style and color hair as desired
- Build relationships with members to ensure repeat visits
- Describe different hair care products and their benefits
- Maintain all sanitization standard under Florida Law
- Adhere to salon safety standards under Florida Law
- Maintain valid licenses and provide documentation
- Attend required trainings, workshops and staff meetings
- Assume other duties as assigned by Fitness Director.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employees are frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers and handle or feel. The employee is required to stand, walk and bend for a period of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to or exceeding 15 pounds.
Compensation:
- This is a part-time, independent contractor position.
- Compensation is based on commission of services rendered (70%–80%).
