Full Pay Range: $17.84 to $24.96
Shift: Daytime
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Join Kwik Trip's fast-paced, guest-focused Information Technology team and gain hands-on experience supporting the Software Quality Assurance (QA) organization. As a QA Intern, you will work alongside experienced QA professionals, developers, and business teams to help ensure the quality and reliability of applications used across the company.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience with software testing, Agile development practices, and defect management while building skills that will prepare you for a career in technology.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and execute test plans and test cases
- Perform functional and regression testing on web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using established processes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum events and team activities
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues
- Verify bug fixes and validate application functionality
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with web technologies and terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule
This is a paid internship beginning as soon as possible and lasting approximately six months.
Candidates must be available to work:
- 20 hours per week during the academic semester
- Up to 40 hours per week during school breaks
