We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support our Operating Room team in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist with direct patient care activities before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environment.

Serving Tustin, Santa Ana and other surrounding communities, Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Our surgeons are supported by state-of-the-art robotics.

What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning and transfers while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Adhere to all infection prevention, safety and HIPAA requirements.
- Prepare, organize and handle surgical trays and instruments.
- Ensure proper operation, care and maintenance of surgical instruments and clinical equipment.
- Protect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Understanding of basic medical terminology.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Computer literacy and proficiency.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.The total compensation target pay range for this role is $28.00 - $42.00 hourly depending upon experience.
