The Role

The Warehouse and Inventory Specialist performs a wide range of hands-on tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly, from receiving and processing incoming A/V equipment and materials to picking, packing, and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock.

This role also includes driving to pick up or deliver materials in the field, and supports the broader team by keeping inventory accurate and the warehouse audit-ready. Responsibilities

- Assists with shipping, receiving, and checking in merchandise. 
- Uses the company's CRM to log equipment, deliver it out to technicians, and reconcile with the accounting system. 
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area. 
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards. 
- Inspects shipments upon receipt for damage or inaccuracies. 
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. 
- Assists in counting physical inventory. 
- Prepares parcels for mailing, shipping, and return, processing all returns within 24 hours of receipt. 
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat. 
- Organizes the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. 
- Wears the proper safety equipment. 
- Maintains the company vehicle fleet: Including dropping off and picking up company vehicles for service and maintenance. 
- Tracks maintenance schedules for all vehicles and identifies and resolves GPS problems in vehicles. 
- Coordinates vehicle inventory and supplies. 
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 
- 1-2 years of previous inventory management experience preferred. 
- Experience with software and computer systems to track, ship, and reconcile materials. 
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills. 
- Driven to perform all tasks with high quality. 
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills are required. 
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. 
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. 
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, and/or kneel. 
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
