Looking for a full-time role that gets you out of the office and into the community? This Community Resource Specialist position combines field-based delivery routes with behind-the-scenes coordination, with a consistent weekday schedule and an early release every Friday.

You'll prepare and deliver resource packets, food bags, and essential household items directly to clients' homes, while working closely with our Process of Care Department and Case Managers to make sure families get what they need.

This role is a great fit for organized, dependable people who enjoy staying on the move, like working independently, and want to make a tangible difference for children and families. It's also a strong entry point for anyone studying or building a career in psychology, nursing, counseling, or behavioral health.

Schedule

- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30/5:00pm
- Friday: Early release, typically between 1:30pm and 2:00pm
- Schedule may be adjusted during breaks and holidays as needed

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinate and support the weekly distribution of resource packets, food bags, and resource bags
- Prepare materials for delivery by printing and organizing resource packets, creating recipe cards, purchasing supplies, and assembling bags
- Deliver resources directly to clients' homes using a company vehicle, typically 3–4 routes per week lasting about 3–4 hours each
- Make sure every distribution is organized, accurate, and completed on time
- Complete accurate, detailed, and timely documentation while managing a high volume of notes
- Use Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), Power Automate, and Canva to support communication, tracking, and program activities
- Stay in regular communication with the Process of Care Department and Case Managers about client needs and service coordination
- Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, staff and collaboration meetings, and monthly one-on-ones with your supervisor

What We're Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new technology platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Sound judgment and the ability to maintain professional boundaries

Plus at least one of the following:

- 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting
- Completion of a related health education certification
- Completion of the first semester of an associate or bachelor's degree program in psychology, nursing, counseling, or a related field

Preferred Background

- Experience working with children
- Experience in behavioral health, social services, or community-based programs
- Familiarity with Power Automate or Canva

Compensation

- $18 – $20 per hour
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
- Non-exempt position, eligible for overtime pay
