Mission Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager with shipboard and submarine experience to join our team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on both the technical execution and profit and loss performance of key programs, ensuring they deliver strong results for our customers and the company. As the primary customer interface, you’ll guide program reviews, shape strategy, and communicate progress across cost, schedule, and technical milestones.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Manage all aspects of manual change development and incorporation for submarine libraries.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
• Interacting with the NNS Planning Yard and NAVSEA for shipboard libraries.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Requirements: I have already done that or have it!

• 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
• Extensive knowledge of submarine configuration and operation.
• Strong understanding of estimating all aspects of work associated with library maintenance.
• Submarine qualified.
• Nuclear power qualified.
• Experience interacting with the NNS Planning Yard and NAVSEA for shipboard libraries.
• Understanding of ISO and its relationship to process development and improvement.
• Confidential Clearance

Bonus Points/ Preferred Requirements:

• Ten or more years of experience with all aspects of manual change development and incorporation for submarine libraries.
• Ten or more years of increasing experience in leadership and/or management.
• Officer of the Deck qualified.
• Bachelor’s degree in math or engineering.
• Quality background in manual change development and incorporation.
• Familiar with model-based product support (MBPS) with respect to ship manuals.

May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipyard environment.
