Flight Test Analyst

MTSI is seeking to hire a Flight Test Analyst supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Flight Test Directorate (DTF) at the Von Braun Complex on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The candidate must be capable of leading and supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and integration of missile defense system (MDS) flight tests.
Responsibilities The Flight Test Analyst is essential for coordinating plans and processes and supporting test execution of MDS flight tests. This role is responsible for supporting the government customer in tracking target build up, providing target timelines, and managing checklists and rosters for MDA target flight test personnel. The primary objective is to ensure that the flight test target team program runs efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with established procedures. Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with external program offices and target providers to track target build up from start to finish.
- Providing target timelines that are integrated into checklists pertinent for completion of the MDA flight test.
- Identifying off-nominal scenarios in collaboration with DTF training team to support on-console training required for preparation of flight test.
- Development and implementation of standardized plans, processes, and checklists to enhance program efficiency. Manage essential documentation to support mission execution and post-test activities.
- Providing on-site support at deployed locations, acting as a key coordinator for Target Test Directors.
- Creating and track rosters for robust target test team set to deploy in support of MDA flight test.

Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required
- BS Degree in related field.
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain at minimum a Secret security clearance.
- Knowledge of Missile Defense System components and system-level topics.
- Experience working in a fast paced, professional environment with the ability to adjust/react to short notice requirements changes, deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events.
- Capable of working as a team member to solve complex challenges across test planning, integration, execution, and analysis.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 20% of the time.

Desired Job Knowledge and/or Skills
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS) capability
- Knowledge of MDA test planning, processes and execution
- Experience in developing standardized plans, processes, and checklists
- Self-motivated; possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Proficiency in the use and integration of Microsoft Office applications
