About this role
Overview:
AngioSafe is a Bay Area company focusing on improving healthcare delivery through state-of-the-art catheter development. We are pioneering the development of novel treatment mechanisms and algorithms to provide unprecedented access to peripheral and coronary disease treatments. We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Accounts Manager to lead the development and execution of our corporate accounts strategy throughout the United States. This is a highly visible commercial leadership role focused on accelerating adoption of an innovative vascular technology designed to address peripheral artery disease (PAD) and other arterial challenges.
The Corporate Accounts Director will cultivate executive-level relationships with leading health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), hospital networks, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), and other strategic customers. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of the vascular and interventional MedTech marketplace with sophisticated enterprise selling, contracting, negotiation, and account-development capabilities. This individual will work closely with regional sales leadership, field sales teams, clinical partners, marketing, reimbursement, and executive management to convert strategic opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
Accountabilities:
Strategic & Corporate Account Leadership
· Develop and execute AngioSafe's national corporate account strategy targeting priority IDNs, health systems, hospital networks, GPOs, and strategic vascular customers.
· Identify health systems in which enterprise-level relationships and agreements can accelerate clinical evaluation, technology adoption, utilization, and revenue.
· Build multilevel relationships across customer organizations, including executive leadership, supply chain, value analysis, service-line leadership, physicians, clinical stakeholders, and contracting teams.
· Create comprehensive strategic account plans incorporating customer priorities, competitive dynamics, clinical objectives, contracting opportunities, and growth potential.
· Establish AngioSafe as a trusted strategic partner rather than solely a medical device vendor.
Commercial Growth
· Drive revenue growth and market penetration within targeted national and corporate accounts.
· Develop strategies that facilitate adoption and expanded utilization of AngioSafe technology across individual hospitals and broader health-system networks.
· Partner with regional and territory sales teams to translate corporate agreements into measurable local adoption and revenue growth.
· Identify barriers to adoption and coordinate internal resources to efficiently move opportunities from initial engagement through evaluation, contracting, implementation, and expansion.
· Maintain a disciplined pipeline of strategic account opportunities and provide accurate forecasts and updates to commercial leadership.
Contracting & Negotiation
· Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with strategic health-system customers.
· Develop pricing and contracting strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning, revenue growth, and long-term profitability.
· Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership on complex agreements.
· Navigate value analysis, procurement, contracting, and new-technology approval processes within major healthcare organizations.
· Monitor contractual performance and ensure agreements generate the intended business results.
Executive & Clinical Relationship Development
· Develop trusted relationships with senior healthcare executives, clinical leaders, and influential physicians in vascular care.
· Understand the clinical and economic challenges associated with treating PAD and other complex arterial disease and effectively communicate AngioSafe's value proposition to both clinical and economic stakeholders.
· Engage physician champions and other key stakeholders to support appropriate technology evaluation and adoption.
· Represent AngioSafe at industry conferences, customer executive meetings, advisory programs, and strategic events.
Cross-Functional Leadership
· Serve as the bridge between national/corporate accounts and AngioSafe's field commercial organization.
· Partner with Marketing and Clinical teams to develop compelling value propositions and account-specific programs.
· Provide Voice of Customer insights to senior leadership regarding emerging customer needs, competitive activity, pricing pressures, and market trends.
· Collaborate with reimbursement, health economics, and market-access resources where appropriate to strengthen the clinical and economic case for adoption.
· Contribute to broader commercial strategy as AngioSafe expands its presence in the U.S. vascular market.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Behaviors:
· Bachelor's degree required; advanced business, healthcare, or scientific degree preferred.
· 10+ years of progressive sales and commercial experience in medical devices or MedTech, with substantial experience in vascular, cardiovascular, peripheral intervention, interventional radiology, or a closely related field strongly preferred.
· Demonstrated success selling innovative or disruptive medical technologies into sophisticated hospital and health-system environments.
· Significant experience managing IDNs, health systems, corporate accounts, and/or GPO relationships.
· Strong record of negotiating complex, multimillion-dollar or enterprise-level commercial agreements.
· Experience partnering effectively with field sales organizations and translating national agreements into local utilization.
