Finance Manager, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios

The Amazon MGM Studios Content Finance team is looking for a collaborative, analytical finance leader to oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) consolidation and reporting for content available on our Prime Video service. You will deliver month-end, quarter-end, annual operating budget, and other critical financial reporting to senior leadership and corporate Amazon. Partnering closely with finance teams managing investments in Amazon MGM Studios original movies and TV shows, you will drive comprehensive global content planning and reporting across the profit and loss statement and free cash flow.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end FP&A consolidation for worldwide Amazon MGM Studios content, spanning the profit and loss statement and free cash flow reporting
- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc financial reviews for senior finance and business leaders
- Serve as the primary liaison with Corporate, Global Media and Entertainment, Prime Video, and Amazon MGM Studios FP&A teams on deliverables and cross-functional communication
- Manage and improve the balance sheet, cash forecasting, and intercompany content reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate existing FP&A processes, driving more efficient planning cycles and reducing churn

A day in the life
You start your morning pulling content spend actuals from SQL queries and reviewing variance commentary in Cognos ahead of an upcoming leadership review. Mid-morning, you connect with partner finance teams across movies and TV to align on forecast assumptions. After lunch you might coach a team member through a complex intercompany elimination, then shift to refining a cash flow model that supports a new content investment proposal. Throughout, you balance deep analytical work with stakeholder conversations that keep planning on track.

The Amazon MGM Studios Content Finance team supports the financial planning and reporting for Prime Video's global content portfolio. We partner across content verticals, strategy, and accounting to deliver the insights that guide investment decisions and long-term growth. Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
