Kubernetes Operations Engineer
Overview:
We are looking for a Kubernetes/OpenShift Operations Engineer to support container platform operations, deployment activities, infrastructure issue troubleshooting, and production incident management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, resolving deployment failures, and handling critical production issues in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support application deployments on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, pod issues, cluster issues, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Provide production support and participate in incident management activities.
- Support users during critical incidents and bridge calls involving infrastructure/platform issues.
- Monitor and maintain cluster health, availability, and performance.
- Work closely with development, platform, and infrastructure teams to resolve operational issues.
- Support container runtime technologies such as Docker and CRI-O.
- Automate and support deployments using GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
