Job Summary
Primarily responsible for managing the financial accounting function, concerning the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and resultant financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assists in budget preparation.
2. Assists with audit and year end closing.
3. Prepares and files sales and use tax returns.
4. Prepares and records monthly closing journal entries.
5. Prepares monthly group financial statements.
6. Prepares operational reconciliation statement.
7. Prepares weekly and monthly labor and equipment reports for operations.
8. Processes transactions for fixed assets (journal entries and book/tax depreciations).
9. Reconciles asset and liability ledger accounts.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting field preferred.
2. 2+ year in construction accounting experience.
3. 2+ years knowledge of standard accounting procedures.
4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.

1. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
2. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
3. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
4. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day
5. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 501bs on an occasional basis.
6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
