About the Role

Como is looking for a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build complete product capabilities across mobile applications, backend services, data, and cloud infrastructure.
You will take features from idea to production: designing the solution, developing the mobile experience, implementing backend services and APIs, working with data and integrations, and ensuring the result can be deployed, monitored, and operated reliably. Guidance and mentoring abilities

What You'll Do

- Design and develop complete features across React Native applications and backend services.

- Build mobile experiences using React Native and TypeScript.

- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and business logic.

- Work with relational and document databases, including data modeling and query optimization.

- Build integrations with internal systems and third-party providers.

- Develop asynchronous processes using queues, events, scheduled jobs, and background workers.

- Build reusable capabilities that can serve multiple products, customers, and white-label applications.

- Work with authentication, authorization, payments, ordering, loyalty, and customer-engagement flows.

- Take responsibility for features throughout their lifecycle—from technical design and implementation to deployment and production operation.

- Design and operate cloud-based services with scalability, reliability, security, and cost in mind.

- Write automated tests across mobile and backend components.

- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues across applications, services, databases, infrastructure, and external integrations.

- Work with cloud services, containers, CI/CD pipelines, configuration, and observability tools.

- Improve system performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.

- Participate in code reviews and practical architectural decisions.

- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and engineering quality.
- Guide and mentors other developers

What We're Looking For

- At least 8 years of professional software-development experience.

- Proven experience delivering production features across both frontend or mobile and backend systems.

- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.

- Production experience with React Native.

- Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js, .NET, or a comparable modern backend stack.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another major cloud platform.

- Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based production services.

- Experience designing APIs and service-to-service integrations.

- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and practical data modeling.

- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure data handling.

- Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, and event-driven systems.

- Practical experience with containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production deployments.

- Ability to independently understand a business requirement, design a solution, and deliver it across the full stack.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Candidates are not expected to have worked with every technology listed, but should have broad full-stack experience and the ability to learn unfamiliar parts of the stack.
