POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the evolution and optimization of a portfolio of applications related to loan lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining business priorities, maximizing the value delivered and ensuring alignment between the needs of business partners and the capabilities of the various platforms under his or her responsibility.

Working closely with stakeholders, this person will contribute to the evolution of processes, improving the user experience and identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of financing processes, a strong ability to influence and collaborate, as well as a results-oriented approach and value creation.

The successful candidate will join a squad in the Product Fulfillment area as a Product Owner and will play a pivotal role in the evolution of solutions supporting BDC's financing activities.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

- Define, manage, and evolve the roadmap of multiple products in alignment with the company's strategic priorities.

- Maximize the business value delivered by the applications under your responsibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to collect, analyze and prioritize business needs.
- Identify user issues and recommend continuous improvements to processes, features, and user experience.
- Translate business objectives into clear priorities for the delivery team.
- Assess the value of initiatives, manage the product backlog, and prioritize work based on expected impact.
- Work in an Agile environment by continuously adjusting priorities, deliverables, opportunities, and risks as needs change.
- Ensure alignment between business partners, technology teams, and product goals.
- Track progress indicators and communicate the progress of initiatives to stakeholders.
- Support users and partners in understanding and using team dashboards and performance indicators.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- University degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and principles.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including developers, business analysts (BA), quality assurance (QA) specialists, Scrum Masters and other stakeholders.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze business needs, prioritize and make value-oriented decisions.
- Ability to evolve in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and sometimes incomplete information.
- Bilingualism in French and English.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in the banking, financial services or trade finance sector.
- Knowledge of funding and loan lifecycle management processes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification.
- Experience managing a portfolio of products or applications.
- Experience in a digital transformation or technology product delivery environment.
