Job Description

The HR Business Partner (Client Services Rep) serves as a frontline resource for our clients, providing day-to-day HR guidance and support across a broad range of functional areas. This role partners with internal leadership and client contacts to deliver foundational HR services, ensure compliance, and foster productive, compliant workplaces. The ideal candidate is an early-career HR professional ready to support client operations with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as an HR resource for client employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, leaves of absence, compensation, and general employee relations matters.
- Support the onboarding process for client employees, including coordination of documentation, systems access, and policy acknowledgment.
- Address routine HR inquiries and provide interpretation of company and client policies in line with applicable employment laws.
- Contribute to performance management processes by reinforcing timelines, procedures, and documentation best practices.
- Assist with compliance efforts by helping clients align with federal, state, and local labor laws and internal policy standards.
- Revise, and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks tailored to client-specific needs.
- Maintain accurate and compliant personnel records and systems for multiple clients.
- Analyze and report on HR data, including turnover trends and employee engagement indicators.
- Assist in planning and coordinating HR trainings and workshops for client supervisors and employees.
- Provide support in managing employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as needed to senior HR staff.
- Stay current with HR trends and employment legislation to ensure clients are informed of relevant updates.
- Provide occasional front desk coverage as needed.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.

Required Experience

- 2+ years of relevant experience
- General proficiency with MS Suite, HRIS, CRM
- Compliance experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency
- A strong individual contributor who also enjoys being part of a team
- Ability to think creatively, solve problems, leverage influence and make wise decisions
- Strong time management, planning, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to present information effectively to a variety of stakeholders, from individual employees to managers to senior leadership.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
