JOB TITLE: Technology Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Analytics

REPORTS TO: Manager, Marketing Science & Engineering

MAJOR PURPOSE:

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Technology Specialist to join our Technology team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT support, system administration, and device management across the agency. Operating in a predominantly Apple-based environment, you will ensure our team has seamless access to the tools, security infrastructure, and hardware necessary to drive performance for our clients.

Beyond traditional IT service desk duties, you will partner closely with our Data & Infrastructure Engineering teams, supporting specialized technical projects, and managing access controls across our cloud environments.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identity, Access & Security Management

- Working with Google Workspace, 1Password and other platforms to enforce agency security protocols
- Work with external vendors KnowBe4 and network security
- Web and miscellaneous tech access and security

2. End-user Support

- Provide Primary technical support to onsite and remote employees
- Manage deployment, provisioning and maintenance, on and offboarding for computers and phones, including Mosyl MDM, Apple Business Manager and others
- Maintain audio/visual (A/V) equipment, conference room technology, printers, and network hardware across physical office locations
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets

3. Engineering Support & Cloud Administration

- Partner with software and data engineering teams to manage user access, IAM roles, and basic configuration within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Additional Responsibilities

As part of the technology and analytics team, you will be exposed to and should expect to support additional work on the engineering and development teams.

4. Assist engineering teams working in Conversionmics, our proprietary data management software, including QA on our data management systems, maintenance, and adhoc tickets

5. Saas Product Security

- Net Conversion owns and operates a proprietary technology, built on BigQuery with CloudRun functionality.
- Ensuring we maintain security standards, documentation, 2FA, etc with the product.
- Working with our development to to provide product feedback for improvements

Requirements

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting macOS/Apple hardware environments.
- Familiarity administering Google Workspace and password management platforms (e.g., 1Password).
- Basic understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) concepts (experience with Mosyl is a strong plus).
- Fundamental understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi configuration).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Additional technical skills in SQL & Python experience a plus.
