NurseCore of Santa Barbara is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) throughout Ventura County for a variety of home health and case management opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As a NurseCore RN, your responsibilities will vary based on the assignment and may include:

- Complete patient admissions, assessments and recertifications
- Perform supervisory and skilled nursing visits
- Provide IV and IVIG infusion therapy
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in the patient’s home
- Monitor patient condition and report significant changes
- Develop, review and update individualized plans of care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments and ongoing care
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical supervisors and other members of the healthcare team
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all applicable plans of care, agency policies and professional nursing standards

What We’re Looking For

- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 1 year of supervised RN experience 
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with live skills demonstration
- Current TB/PPD or chest X-ray
- Current physical
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and independent nursing skills
- Strong IV skills required
- Home health experience preferred
- Trach, ventilator and G-tube experience preferred
- Successful completion of applicable clinical skills assessments
- Ability to complete required training and employment screenings

One thing I would change strategically: I would not put “flexible part-time scheduling” in the benefits unless these are only part-time positions. Since you have case management, home health shifts, and per diem work, simply saying “Flexible Scheduling” opens the ad up to RNs looking for anything from supplemental work to more consistent hours.
