Program: CTPSB (Forensic Program)
Location: Statewide
Salary: $65,000/year
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)
Program Summary :
The CENTER FOR TREATMENT OF PROBLEM SEXUAL BEHAVIOR (CTPSB) provides treatment services to individuals with problematic sexual behavior. These services help clients to identify triggers, manage risk factors, learn socially acceptable behaviors, and set positive future goals to promote community safety.
Position Summary:
The Evaluator is a Master's Level Clinician who conducts a comprehensive assessment utilizing validated tools and evidence based practices for individuals who are referred for treatment. The Evaluator must maintain a solid knowledge of current risk assessment research and current training on applicable risk assessment tools. This position travels to community locations throughout the state and may conduct evaluations within correctional facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adherence to best practice and ethical standards and be organized and able to complete work in a timely manner.
Working within Adult Services, the Evaluator works collaboratively with the CTPSB treatment team.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in counseling or social work field
- Must be eligible for licensure as LMSW, LPCA, MFTA or higher
- 2 years of related experience in the field of social work and/or behavioral health
- Valid Connecticut drivers license
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
