Job Description

Exciting opportunity combine your technical, networking, and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers with IGT - Fixed Systems products.

Your role:

- Acting as a Remote Service Engineer (RSE), the aim of your job is to provide telephone, remote technical support, and remote diagnostics to external healthcare customers and field partners, utilizing the latest remote access technologies.
- Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to external customers
- Resolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as needed
- Timely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level support
- Utilization of appropriate remote tools to resolve issue and thus avoid dispatching of service call to Field Service Engineer
- Implementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, apply effective solutions and determine follow up actions
- Driving increased productivity through utilization of remote tools and technical skills
- Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.
- Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities.

- You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience with Philips Image Guided Therapy (IGT) System - Azurion and/or Alllura systems experience.
- Your skills include the ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
- You have an Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.

- You must be able to: Work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment; adhere to requirements.

- Safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear all required personal protective equipment.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position in AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VI, VT, WI, WV, and WY is $42 to $65, plus overtime eligible.

The hourly pay range for this position in AK, DE, HI, MD, MN, RI, and WA is $44 to $69, plus overtime eligible.

The hourly pay range for this position in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, WA and Washington D.C is $47 to $73, plus overtime eligible.

This role also includes an annual incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, training, and advancement opportunities.  The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
