Accounting Specialist – AR Focused
Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time | $20–$30/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with a strong Accounts Receivable (AR) focus to support our finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing and inventory-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Receivable , including customer invoicing, payment application, account reconciliation, and collections.
- Monitor past-due balances, prepare aging reports, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer and accounting records.
- Assist with Accounts Payable , including invoice processing, purchase order/receiver matching, vendor reconciliations, and payments.
- Support basic accounting, reporting, analysis, and month-end activities.
- Participate in the implementation and ongoing use of Epicor ERP .
- Support ad-hoc accounting projects and other finance-related activities.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of AP/AR or related accounting experience preferred.
- Strong Accounts Receivable experience , ideally within a manufacturing, construction, retail, or inventory-heavy business .
- Experience working with a moderately complex ERP system required; Epicor, SAP, SAGE, or similar ERP experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting reports and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, on-site in Cincinnati, OH
Start time flexible between 7:00–8:30 AM
Pay: $20–$30/hour | Full-Time Temporary
