Position/Job Description:
The Senior Key Account Manager - Golf is responsible for managing the relationship, direction, coordination, and sales growth of our North American Golf Key Accounts and developing and growing the Husqvarna Golf portfolio with the top companies in the commercial golf sector. The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and growing robotic golf mower sales to the top 25 Key Multi-Course Operator/Management Companies representing over 1,800 golf courses, as well as specified high profile named accounts in key markets (Top 100 Golf Courses). The Senior Key Account Manager – Golf will build long term relationships with key industry players and should bring a strong list of established industry contacts with them. Key metrics include sales growth through penetration of large MCO’s, conversion of key named accounts, commercial growth, profitability, competitive displacement, and year-over-year sales growth through existing accounts.

• Leads strategy for business development and execution among key accounts.
• Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.
• Assists leadership in developing account strategies, goals, and plans, focusing on driving growth for Husqvarna in the Golf industry sector. They will add value for Husqvarna Commercial Accounts by cultivating a business relationship that facilitates each business partner’s growth and success. This job requires being in front of customers from the C-Suite to the field to present programs, products, and value-based solutions.
• Focus on and manage the growth of sales in Husqvarna’s portfolio of robotic and professional products
• Leads targeted market development in high-potential but underserved markets, identifying roadblocks and providing solutions to grow market share.
• Serves as the primary contact and liaison with assigned national accounts and their branch locations.
• Development of commercial programs, including fleet penetration.
• Develops and implement effective direct account incentives and programs with responsibility and authority to complete the task.
• Executes programs that maximize sales while upholding our margins with national accounts.
• Planning, call reporting, and customer interaction are managed in the CRM daily
• Develops and coordinates executive presentations and training seminars.
• Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth, and total companywide conversions.
• Conducts quarterly reviews measuring the accounts’ performance against the business plan to achieve targets.
• Participates in National and Regional industry trade shows and events.
• Performs any other duties as directed.
• Demonstrate equipment and provide product application learning opportunities.
What We Are Looking For :
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Sales Experience: Qualified applicants should have a successful track record of at least 10-15 years of high-performance selling experience in the golf industry required.
• Prefer experience selling golf course maintenance equipment, irrigation, utility vehicles, or chemicals to golf course and/or sports turf operations.
• Experience in National Account Management is strongly preferred. Preferred experience working with Accounts such as Troon, Invited, KemperSports, as well as Top 100 Golf course properties.
• Strong business acumen is required through both experience in the job and education
• OPE Product and Industry: Must have an aptitude and interest in learning extensive knowledge about outdoor power equipment and the industry to represent our brand and products effectively to commercial accounts.
• Presentation skills and computer/software proficiency: Microsoft Office experience is required, as well as the ability to learn and master other in-house programs that track sales and customer relations.

• Able and willing to work extended hours as required and as much as 70% of overnight travel as needed to properly penetrate the market
