System Administrator II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator (Level 2) to join our growing team!

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support mission operations sustainment — monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based high-performance computing systems on a high-impact national security mission.

Qualifications:

- Five (5) years of system administration experience

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related technical field

An additional five (5) years of system administration experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of Ten (10) years

Required:

- Linux administration on RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, or Ubuntu

- OS install, file system configuration, and TCP/IP networking

- Operating system and application troubleshooting

- BASH scripting; software compilation and install

- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (with verification code)

- Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph (most recent poly within 7 years)

- This position carries an on-call requirement.

Desired Skills:

- Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot)

- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, and Ansible

- Strong troubleshooting skills — comfort with the reality that no two systems are exactly alike
