Kiosk Technician - FT

Position Summary:

The Kiosk Technician will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of various electronic devices as manufacturers update and create new machines. Will maintain knowledge of the equipment necessary to service and repair these machines and apply that knowledge to the ongoing slot maintenance program set forth by management, focusing mainly on Jackpot Kiosks and Guest Kiosks. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resorts ELITE company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.

2. Oversee Kiosk machine moves and installations, conversions, upgrades and removals. Ensure proper procedures are being followed at all times with respect to machine optioning and testing.

3. Ensure proper safety procedures are being followed at all times.

4. Responsible for all aspects of preventive maintenance on Jackpot Kiosks and Guest Kiosks.

5. Responsible for preparation work, installation and setup of Jackpot Kiosks, Guest Kiosks, Jet Sorts, Jet Scans, and Coin Wrappers.

6. Troubleshoot, install and repair system related failures including, but not limited to, player tracking and progressive systems.

7. Respond to routine machine maintenance calls on the casino floor, taking care of immediate action work orders as dictated by the slot floor personnel and guests.

8. Promote positive guest experiences through courteous service and respectful communication.

9. Follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines including, but not limited to, self-limiting requests and identification verification.

10. Comply with all Slot Department policies and provide constructive feedback to Slot Department Management on necessary changes and improvements.

11. Be aware of and knowledgeable about all upcoming events and promotions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. One (1) year Utility Technician experience required.
2. High School education or equivalent required.
3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, training materials, and other related documents.
4. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
6. Must be able to multi-task.
7. Must have basic math skills.
8. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes on various chemicals and electrical equipment used within the department.
9. Must be at least 21 years of age.
10. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Requirements:
1. Normal, corrective vision range, with the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
3. Must be able to work from a bending and kneeling position for prolonged periods of time.
4. Ability to move up to 250 pounds using a hand truck with or without assistance.
5. Ability to hear radio transmissions and communicate clearly on radio. Must be able to wear an earpiece with radio.
6. Have the manual dexterity necessary to operate small and large hand tools.
