Overview: We are seeking experienced Senior Aviation Military Analysts to support Army Aviation modernization, capability development, operational assessments, and future force initiatives. These positions provide senior-level expertise supporting Army and Joint stakeholders through analysis, requirements development, technology evaluations, and modernization efforts.
This recruitment includes five distinct Senior Aviation Military Analyst positions. Candidates may be considered for one or more specialties based on qualifications and experience:
- Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Electronic Warfare & Cyber
- Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Integration & Synchronization
- Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Launched Effects
- Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Weapons & Munitions
- Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Reconnaissance & Attack
Position 1: Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Electronic Warfare & Cyber
Position Summary: Provides expertise in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), cyber operations, aviation survivability, and capability development supporting Army Aviation modernization. Supports threat analysis, survivability assessments, operational studies, technology evaluations, and requirements development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze electromagnetic and cyber threats impacting Army Aviation platforms.
- Evaluate Aviation Survivability Equipment (ASE) and other protective systems.
- Support capability development, modernization, and operational assessments.
- Lead Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Develop requirements documentation, operational concepts, and strategic recommendations.
- Support intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), electronic warfare, and survivability initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Rated Army Aviator or Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Warrant Officer.
- Minimum 15 years of combat operations experience.
- Extensive experience implementing electromagnetic and cyber protection measures for Army Aviation aircraft equipped with ASE.
- Deep knowledge of electromagnetic and cyber threats, mitigation approaches, and operational employment of protective systems.
- Minimum 5 years supporting capability management, combat development, or capability development initiatives.
- Experience leading Working Groups and IPTs.
- Experience conducting aviation studies and operational test events focused on capability development and technology assessments.
- Direct participation in an Army Aviation Capability-Based Assessment (CBA) supporting ISR fixed-wing aircraft or EW threat systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce graduate-level analytical products, white papers, concept papers, operational views, and requirements documentation.
- Ability to review and edit technical products for quality and accuracy.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Position 2: Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Integration & Synchronization
Position Summary: Provides support for Army Aviation modernization, force design, capability integration, and enterprise synchronization efforts. Works with Aviation Capability Managers and senior leaders to align modernization, funding, force design, and capability development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Aviation Capability Managers and Army senior leaders.
- Synchronize modernization efforts and capability development initiatives.
- Conduct force design assessments and modernization planning.
- Lead Working Groups, IPTs, and cross-functional forums.
- Develop executive-level briefings and strategic recommendations.
- Produce requirements documents, concept papers, white papers, and operational analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 15 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
- Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in capability management, combat development, or modernization planning.
- Strong understanding of Army Aviation modernization and enterprise synchronization processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Army Aviation force design and organizational impacts of personnel and equipment changes.
- Experience integrating data from multiple organizations to support executive-level decision-making.
- Experience facilitating Working Groups, IPTs, and cross-functional organizations.
- Experience leading aviation studies and operational test events.
- Experience authoring a JROC-approved JCIDS document.
- Participation in Army Aviation Enterprise Synchronization Model workgroups.
- Working knowledge of PPBE processes and Army Aviation funding strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop graduate-level analytical products.
- Ability to review and edit complex technical and strategic documents.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Must be eligible for TS/SCI access.
Position 3: Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Launched Effects
Position Summary: Provides expertise in Army Aviation attack and reconnaissance operations, Launched Effects (LE), weapons systems, munitions employment, capability development, and modernization. Supports operational studies, assessments, evaluations, and requirements development.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational employment of Army Aviation attack and reconnaissance capabilities.
- Support Launched Effects integration and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct capability assessments and technology evaluations.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend future force solutions.
- Lead Joint Working Groups and study teams.
- Develop requirements documents, operational views, concept papers, and white papers.
Required Qualifications
- Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 15 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
- Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge.
- Completion of CGSC/ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, or equivalent professional military education.
- Extensive experience with Army Aviation Launched Effects, weapons systems, launchers, and munitions, including Hydra 70 rockets and HELLFIRE missiles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze attack and reconnaissance operations and identify operational capability gaps.
- Experience planning attack, reconnaissance, and air assault missions.
- Prior operational leadership experience managing organizations of 400+ personnel.
- Minimum 5 years supporting capability management, combat development, or capability development efforts.
- Experience planning and facilitating Joint Working Groups.
- Experience leading aviation studies and operational test activities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce high-quality analytical documentation.
- Ability to review and edit technical products.
- Active Secret clearance required.
Position 4: Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Weapons & Munitions
Position Summary: Provides expertise in Army Aviation attack and reconnaissance operations, weapons employment, capability development, and combat development. Supports operational studies, modernization efforts, capability assessments, and technology evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate Army Aviation weapons systems and munitions employment.
- Support modernization and capability development initiatives.
- Conduct operational studies and assessments.
- Identify capability gaps and provide recommendations to improve force effectiveness.
- Lead Joint Working Groups and study teams.
- Develop analytical and requirements documentation supporting Army and Joint stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 15 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
- Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge.
- Completion of CGSC/ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, or comparable Army staff education.
- Extensive technical expertise in Army Aviation weapons systems, launchers, and munitions, including Hydra 70 rockets and HELLFIRE missiles.
- Demonstrated expertise analyzing attack and reconnaissance operations.
- Experience planning attack, reconnaissance, and air assault missions.
- Prior operational leadership experience managing organizations of 400+ personnel.
- Minimum 5 years supporting capability management, combat development, or capability development initiatives.
- Experience planning and facilitating Joint Working Groups.
- Experience leading aviation studies and operational test events.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop high-quality analytical products.
- Ability to review and edit products for technical accuracy and professional quality.
- Active Secret clearance required.
Position 5: Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Reconnaissance & Attack
Position Summary: Provides expertise in Army Aviation reconnaissance, attack, and assault operations, capability development, combat development, and requirements analysis. Supports operational studies, modernization efforts, capability assessments, and technology evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed operational analyses of Army Aviation reconnaissance and attack capabilities.
- Identify operational capability gaps and recommend capability solutions.
- Support modernization and combat development initiatives.
- Lead Joint Working Groups and study teams.
- Develop requirements documents, concept papers, operational views, and analytical reports.
Required Qualifications
- Rated Army Aviator with a minimum of 15 years of Army Aviation flight and combat operations experience.
- Senior or Master Army Aviator Badge.
- Completion of CGSC/ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, or equivalent Army operational and staff training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in capability management, combat development, or capability development activities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze attack and reconnaissance operations and identify capability gaps.
- Experience planning and executing Joint Working Groups.
- Experience leading aviation studies and operational test events.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce graduate-level analytical products with minimal Government revision.
- Ability to review and edit analytical products for quality and accuracy.
- Active Secret clearance required.
