EXPERIENCED COUNTERTOP TEMPLATER / CAD TECHNICIAN

FLOFORM Countertops is expanding into Bozeman, Montana , and we're looking for an experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on technical position for someone who understands construction, measurements, CAD, and the importance of getting the details right the first time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Countertop Templater / CAD Technician, you'll be responsible for turning field measurements into accurate digital files ready for production .

You'll:

- Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout the Bozeman area
- Complete accurate countertop measurements and digital templates
- Create CAD drawings and digital files for custom countertops and sinks
- Prepare files for CNC fabrication and production
- Document sink and cooktop cutouts, faucet holes, radiuses, edges, backsplashes and other specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings and construction specifications
- Identify potential problems before fabrication or installation
- Communicate templating and installation requirements with customers and contractors
- Work closely with Sales, Production and Operations to keep projects moving
- Complete work orders and submit templates within required timelines
- Maintain company vehicle, digital templating equipment and tools
- Provide professional customer service while working on job sites

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This is not an entry-level templating position.

We're looking for someone who can step into the role and contribute immediately.

You'll need:

- 1–2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and CAM software
- Previous experience in countertop templating, fabrication, installation, drafting or construction
- Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction or installation
- Strong blueprint, schematic and measurement skills
- Strong intermediate math skills
- Ability to create accurate CAD files from field measurements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Professional appearance and ability to work directly with customers
- LT3 / Raptor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check

THIS IS A FIELD + TECHNICAL POSITION

You'll spend your day moving between customer job sites, construction environments and computer-based CAD work .

You should be comfortable:

- Working inside residential and commercial construction sites
- Climbing stairs and ladders
- Kneeling, bending, squatting and twisting
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Using digital measurement and templating equipment
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
