About this role
The Assembly/Tear Down Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Assembly/Tear Down team and supporting safe, efficient production operations. This role is accountable for maintaining production schedules that meet customer expectations, achieving daily production goals, and supporting quality standards while operating within labor and material budgets.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, along with the ability to maintain productivity and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in Team Lead meetings to identify, address, and resolve operational issues throughout the shop.
- Document, review, and recommend improvements to new hire training procedures within the team.
- Maintain 100% compliance with new hire onboarding schedules and training expectations.
- Coordinate and track cross-training efforts within the team to support PTO coverage, position vacancies, and fluctuations in sales volume.
- Review weekly quality control reports to identify trends, address issues, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Two or more years of experience in production or a related field.
- Completion of in-house training: Leadership Skills for Group Leaders required.
