We’re looking for an engineer who can use their skills to research and develop hardware and sof tware for an embedded controls project.

You Have:

- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting embedded sof tware that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices
- 3+ years of experience optimizing code based on the platform being used
- 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Ability to work on-site up to 5 days a week in indoor labs and outdoor test ranges
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or CS

Nice If You Have:

- 3+ years of experience with embedded sof tware and related technologies such as C++ and AMD or Xilinx
- 3+ years of experience with sensor technologies, including trackers, radars, and electro-optical or infrared systems
- Experience with user interface development using Python
- Experience with high power microwave or radio frequency testing
- Experience with Docker containers

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
