Assistant Gas Bar/C-Store Manager - Westwood Drive

The Central Sask. Co-operative is currently recruiting a Full-Time Assistant Gas Bar/C-Store Manager for our Westwood Drive location in Humboldt, SK.

What you’ll do:

- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and brand.
- Assist in the management of the Westwood C-Store/Gas Bar Site, ensuring safe, consistent, and profitable operations.
- Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and image standards.
- Assist in the leadership of the team, providing day-to-day direction and guidance to team members. Provide effective direction, leadership, coaching, training/development, talent management and oversee recruitment.
- Purchase and market convenience store merchandise and manage relationships with vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

- You have a Grade 12 education.
- You have 3+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a leadership/supervisory role.
- You are familiar with petroleum products, storage, handling, and safety.
- You have good skills in MS Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- You have a valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- You have strong leadership, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- You are detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills; and you optimize work processes.
- You are honest and trustworthy, as well as results oriented, effectively encouraging others and striving to be the best in what you do.

Reports to: Gas Bar/C-Store Division Manager
