NPI Engineer

What you will do:

Lead the introduction of a company’s new products for North America’s Chiller Division. Execute and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring an effective transfer of design to manufacturing, compliance with internal processes, quality assurance, product cost and operational stability during and after mass production launch. This role acts as the main contact of the Global Program Managers; and in the Factory acts as main technical bridge between all the cross-functional teams.

How you will do it:

- Lead and track multiple NPI projects across the organization, working with cross functional teams to meet deliverables and timelines.
- Main contact to facilitate the design transfer from Global Engineering to manufacturing plants for new product launches.
- Execute NPI activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in design reviews and manufacturability improvement initiatives (DFM/DFA).
- Track Local Engineering Changes (ECNs) from creation through release and implementation in manufacturing (eBoM to mBoM).
- Maintain, monitor, and update action plans throughout the NPI lifecycle.
- Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) according to project needs.
- Provide support to manufacturing teams for the implementation of new processes when they’re required.
- Provide support during prototypes, pilot builds, production launch, and ramp up, as well as post launch support to ensure stable processes.
- Support, in collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams, the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including:
- Control Plans
- PFMEA
- Work Instructions (ODS)
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Supplier PAPSO/PPAP
- Run MOC documentation along with safety team and multidisciplinary members.
- Identify technical and operational risks and propose mitigation actions throughout the NPI lifecycle (lessons learned).
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules.

What we look for :

Required

·        Degree in related field

- 3-5 years of experience launching new products, leading multifunctional teams.
- Ability to handle multiple activities at the same time. Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluid English language.

Preferred:

·        HVAC experience is a plus
