You will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities <ul><li>Provide commercial team support, by offering technical expertise and drawings for the diversity, identification POE and internal routing to termination points.</li><li>Frontline technical project management with external suppliers by pulling, tracking construction schedules, including civils, permitting, cable overpulls, overlaying with E2E schedule and producing reports.</li><li>Reviewing FC Results and ensuring those are within Microsoft Core Fiber Standards, producing as-build documentation including technical schematics.</li><li>Managing risks and producing mitigation options using market intelligence.</li><li>Throughout Delivery phase, conducting quality assurance inspections remote or by traveling to sites.</li><li>Managing remediation activities with supplier and independent 3rd party Fiber Characterization Team.</li><li>Reviewing FC Results and ensuring those are within Microsoft Core Fiber Standards, producing as-build documentation including technical schematics.</li><li>Communicating status and producing reports, as required, to cross functional teams as well as Leadership.</li></ul> Qualifications Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development<ul><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li>1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.</li></ul>Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: <ul><li>Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.</li></ul>Additional or Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li>2+ years experience with AutoCAD or GIS solutions.</li><li>1+ year(s) experience in Outside plant construction and engineering with a major telecommunication provider. </li><li>1+ year(s) experience with ISP / OSP construction, Telecom architectural and optical transport</li><li>1+ year(s) experience developing comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, milestones, resources, and timelines. This includes creating Gantt charts and project schedules to ensure that all aspects of the project are planned and coordinated effectively.</li><li>1+ year(s) demonstrative experience in partnering with external suppliers and internal cross functional teams by removing boundaries and solving complex Network Capacity Delivery matters.</li></ul> Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
