Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented stockroom clerk in our Shipping Department who will provide service and support to production, engineering, and sales with focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and supporting 100% customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Position Responsibilities

Duties:

- Stock and organize products in designated locations

- Pick required items from active inventory shelves

- Ensure orders are double-checked by another shipping clerk for accuracy

- Carefully package orders to prevent damage during shipment.

- Assemble products into starter kits, development kits, and other configurations as required.

- Process returned materials (RMAs) in the system and route paperwork and product to the appropriate department.

- Assist with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

- Support other group functions as needed.

- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

- Previous stockroom experience is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail .

- Good organizational skills

- Basic computer skills

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education/Experience

- This position requires good eyesight, reading skills, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility.

- Familiarity with ERP systems is helpful.

- This position requires familiarity with inventory control techniques and shipping methods.

- Planning work and being able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks is critical.

- Basic computer literacy is required for this position.

- Must be able to use basic measuring equipment including calipers, ability to interpret and utilize engineering drawings and specifications.

- High School or GE

Physical Demands

At times this position can be physically demanding. It requires frequent lifting of small to medium-sized packages typically 2-10 lb. ranges, but we do on occasion receive packages weighing in the 30-50 lb. ranges, it is possible for packages to weigh all the way up to a maximum of 150 lbs.
