Position Summary

This position performs GMP manufacturing operations in an OSD environment, including dispensing, compounding, compressing, encapsulating, coating, and printing, with minimal supervision.

Shift :  Mon-Thur 4pm-230am

Location: Grenville, NC 
100% Onsite

The Role

- With minimal oversight, assemble, disassemble, clean and store manufacturing equipment

- Assist with troubleshooting machinery and equipment and recommend corrective or preventative measures

- Ensure all batch records and logbook entries are accurately documented and compliant with SOPs and FDA cGMP guidelines

- With minimal supervision, conduct setup, changeover, and manufacturing activities with adherence to SOPs and safety requirements

- All other duties as assigned

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical OSD manufacturing

- Associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical OSD manufacturing

- Required to obtain internal forklift operation certification

- Position requires the ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs unassisted, and occasionally push and pull a maximum of 50 lbs

- Majority of work day is performed while standing and walking

- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations

- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities

- Exposure to hazardous chemicals, other active chemical ingredients, respiratory irritants, skin irritants, moving machinery parts, damp, humid, wet and cramped environments

- This position requires that a respirator be worn for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results. The medical evaluation is conducted via an external vendor assigned by Catalent.
