About the Role

As you help create a welcoming and organized experience for clients, you'll play an important role in supporting daily office operations and ensuring clients receive exceptional service throughout their engagement. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced tax and accounting environment.

Day to day you'll...

- Greet clients and answer phones in a personalized, friendly, and professional manner.

- Check clients in for appointments and assist with appointment scheduling.

- Receive client drop-offs and process client documentation received in person and through mail.

- Perform data entry related to tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative functions.

- Scan, upload, organize, and maintain confidential client records and documentation.

- Create and maintain client folders and ensure accurate filing of records.

- Process client payments and assist with daily revenue reporting and reconciliation activities.

- Support office reporting and maintain accurate administrative records.

- Ensure office systems and network platforms are utilized appropriately to maintain client accounts and office programs.

- Assist with the preparation, processing, and distribution of completed client work.

- Perform filing, correspondence, faxing, document preparation, and other clerical support activities.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

- Collaborate with team members to support office operations and client service initiatives.

- Assist during peak tax season periods, including overtime as needed.

- Perform other administrative and office duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Customer Service

- Experience with multiple web-based applications

- Computer knowledge specifically with Microsoft Suites

- Phone skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience• 1-2 Years Experience• Technology driven• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suites including Teams• Self-Motivated

## Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

## Pay Range
$17.64 - $26.49/Hr.
