Job Summary

The OD Consultant ensures that redesigned journeys, digital tools, and new workflows are not only developed, but also understood, adopted, and sustained across the organization. The role partners with leaders and cross-functional teams to support successful implementation, strengthen organizational capabilities, and promote a consistent approach across the enterprise.

Essential Functions of the Role

- Engages designated teams to build the capabilities, systems, and processes required to achieve sustainable business results.
- Identifies people-related risks, resistance points, performance gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conducts business readiness and organizational impact assessments; evaluates results and develops action plans to prepare stakeholders for upcoming changes.
- Partners with strategic partners and cross-functional teams to assess organizational impacts, identify root causes and priority areas, evaluate transformation risks, and define appropriate risk-mitigation strategies.
- Supports process design and future-state planning to align business processes, systems, culture, and capabilities with the organization’s strategic vision.
- Consults with strategic partners to determine the scope, scale, and level of organizational change required to achieve the desired future state.
- Coaches and advises stakeholders throughout implementation to support successful adoption, reinforce new behaviors, and sustain business outcomes.
- Provides change-management consultation and support for merger and acquisition activities.
- Develops capability-building plans for assigned process areas, including standardized processes, tools, education, training, communications, branding, and awareness initiatives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional disciplines and teams—including Analytics, PMO, and Lean—to support performance improvement and organizational effectiveness.
- Establishes and applies change-management tools, methodologies, templates, and measurement practices.
- Coordinates and aligns organizational, cultural, and operational change efforts across the enterprise.
- Ensures change activities, decisions, risks, impacts, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and outcomes are properly documented and maintained.
- Follows all established internal change-management processes, governance requirements, approval protocols, and documentation standards to support consistency, transparency, accountability, and audit readiness.

Key Success Factors

- Master's degree preferred in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Training and Performance Improvement, Organizational Development, among others.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate assessments, metrics, and findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
