As an Industrial Security Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3 located in Colorado Springs, CO , you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

The Industrial Security Analyst (ISA) will support the execution of security operations for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and company policies related to classified program protection, personnel security, classified material accountability, and facility/program security. The ISA will partner closely with government customers, program teams, and internal stakeholders to enable mission success while safeguarding classified information and maintaining compliance standards.

In this job, you will:

- Support a fast-paced, high-profile program and create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Oversee classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07, Volumes 1–4), the Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Manuals (DoD Manual 5105.21, Volumes 1–3), the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), the IC Technical Specification (IC Tech Spec) for ICD/ICS 705 and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as other applicable security regulations and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254 and DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance.
- Assist program managers and professional staff in interpreting, applying and complying with Program Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
- Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support, including reviewing and processing the required documentation for the SAP and SCI nomination processes, preparing and administering program indoctrinations and debriefings
- Provide facility security administration, documentation and management support.
- Draft and implement standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Conduct SAP and SCI security program self-inspections
- Manage inventory of accountable holdings in accordance with the policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit status reports to applicable government agencies; administer and manage classified destruction
- Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified material
- Develop, coordinate, and submit for approval physical security documentation including Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and TEMPEST Addendums as applicable
- Manage and maintain UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the security program
- Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
- Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP/SCI accesses through queries to government security databases and systems
- Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents
- Other duties as assigned

This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and/or SAP approval/access
- Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience (Word, Excel etc.)
- Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience.  Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and/or SAP approval/access
- Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience (Word, Excel etc.)
- Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or related experience
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Personnel and Program Security Experience
- Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
