About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As a Strategic Learning & Capability Partner, you will operate as a senior internal consultant, partnering with Executive and senior leaders to strengthen organisational performance and shape the capabilities ACC needs for the future. Working at the intersection of business strategy, workforce capability and performance outcomes, you will help define enterprise-wide capabilities such as AI literacy, commercial capability and emerging workforce capabilities identified through ACC's Strategic Workforce Plan. You will influence strategic investment decisions, guide capability priorities, and work with leaders to solve complex organisational challenges, ensuring capability initiatives deliver measurable impact. Through this work, you will contribute to keeping New Zealanders safe at work, at home and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $146,000 - $179,000 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience diagnosing complex organisational challenges and providing strategic, evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience in organisational development, capability strategy, workforce transformation, performance consulting or capability leadership.
- Experience influencing Executive and senior leaders on capability, workforce and organisational priorities.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability needs and shape investment decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data, insights and evidence to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
- Experience translating strategic capability priorities into practical solutions, including learning and non-learning interventions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and influence diverse audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and relationship management capability.
- Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in organisational systems and practices.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
